Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CohnReznick.
Associate Director
I interviewed with a small service line and scheduling was a bit fluid since I had to speak with specific people. Ultimately, we didn't get through the whole process before I had to make a decision on another offer I had. The people I spoke to seemed solid and the pay/benefits discussed were on par with mid-tier firms or better.
- Can you describe your specific deal experience, including the sector, size, and ownership structure?
Senior Associate
So, I first had this phone screen with a recruiter, just chatting about my background and the job. Then, later that week, I had virtual interviews with the hiring team, like a practice leader, a director, and a senior manager. These were pretty chill, felt real and I learned a lot. Everyone was nice. Near the end, I talked to someone from the people & culture team who threw some harder behavioral questions at me.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- Describe a difficult project you were involved in and how you felt about it.
- Share an experience where you had to deal with a challenging person.
Senior Associate
It was a typical process with typical questions. They asked more behavioral questions and questions to understand my experience and what I'm looking for in my next role. I spoke with two different people besides HR.
- What's the reason you're looking to leave your current job?
