The interview process was really smooth, fast, and efficient. I liked how it was managed from start to finish. First, I had a meeting with the hiring manager, and then I went into a panel session with three separate 45-minute interviews.

It was a really good experience. Even though it became clear partway through the interviews that it wasn't the right fit for me (I currently manage all recruiting, and this role would have been just one person on a big team), everyone involved was super positive, encouraging, responsive, and open. I didn't get an offer, and honestly, I probably would have turned it down anyway because of the structural fit, but the people there were all really great.

Applied for a role and a few days later just received an email saying was shortlisted. Didn't receive a call and the Coordinator hadn't shared contact number. Focus areas for the interview weren't shared until following up a few times. Then with the interview. Did not turn video on. Felt like was talking to myself. Didn't seem to be listening to what was said because the questions asked weren't aligned to experience. Seemed to think that it will be difficult for candidate to work at company. Was interrupted several times and did not allow time to finish answers. Cohesity seems to lack empathy, it came out strongly in the interview. Felt like I was being judged. Next time, please don't reach out if you think a candidate is not a fit. Don't call things like this out in an interview.
