Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cogna.
Project Analyst
The selection process had 3 stages. First, I spoke with HR. Then, I had an interview with the area manager, who seemed to really like my profile. However, the process stopped at the Operational Manager, who was the last interviewer and is above the area manager I would have worked with more closely. The result was no feedback, which is typical of most companies. More of the same!
- Tell me about yourself
- Tell me about your current job
- Why do you want to leave your current job
Senior Analyst
It started off well. The recruiter contacted me on WhatsApp and we scheduled a conversation. On the day of the conversation, she said she would schedule a chat with the area manager. She never got back to me, not even on LinkedIn did she reply. I was expecting constructive feedback, but there was no communication.
- Can you walk me through your journey and background?
Analyst
I found the process to be humanized and the approach inspiring. It was a bit slow, but the recruiter's kindness and politeness in keeping me updated really impressed me. I was able to connect with the company and the business, which isn't easy given it's a large ecosystem.
- What made you look at the market and consider this role?
