It was an offline interview, held at Marriott Fairfield in Whitefield, Bangalore. The process was quite smooth. When the interview started, the interviewer made me feel comfortable, offering water and suggesting I relax. He began by asking about strings, maps, and Java memory management. He then asked me to write a code to count characters in a string. After I explained my current project, he inquired about its architecture. When I mentioned I didn't particularly like the project, he was very friendly about it. Post-interview, he gave me constructive feedback on areas needing improvement, specifically pointing out my lack of practical knowledge, which I really appreciated. He was a true gentleman and even recommended some learning resources.

So there were only two rounds for this interview. The first one was all technical stuff, and then the last one was more of a non-technical chat. I really thought I nailed it and was going to get the job, but then... nothing. No one got back to me even after I called and emailed a bunch. Such a waste of time.
