Azure DevOps Engineer
The interview touched on Azure Services Data Storage like ADLS Gen2 and Blob Storage. For data processing, we discussed Azure Data Factory (pipelines, linked services, triggers, integration runtime). Then, Databricks / Spark was covered, including PySpark transformations and Delta Lake features (time travel, vacuum, versioning). SQL / Synapse Analytics came up, with questions on stored procedures, partitioning, and performance tuning. Event/Streaming concepts like Event Hub and Kafka basics were also part of the discussion. Core Data Engineering topics included data modeling (star vs snowflake), ETL vs ELT approaches, handling Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1, Type 2), incremental loads, and performance optimization in Spark & ADF.
- They asked about AWS, but my interview was on Azure.
Azure DevOps Engineer
It was a pretty straightforward process, good pay too. They were looking for someone with Oracle PLSQL experience. The panel was nice. They asked me about different scenarios. They actually cancelled my interview twice before we finally connected on the third try.

- Could you explain what Delegates are and how they are utilized?
