Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Code Ninjas.
Tutor
The interview was straightforward with simple questions about my resume and what I submitted. There were also behavioral questions asking how I would handle different situations when working with kids. No coding questions were asked. They clearly explained the interview structure beforehand. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- Describe how you would handle various scenarios when working with children.
Instructor
Pretty simple interview process with some basic questions about yourself and if you have experience working and or teaching kids. Done over a video call. I didnt have any experience but I think they still were willing to hire and train since job is hourly and basically teach K ages.
- What makes you want to apply?
- Have you taught children before?
Instructor
It was a really fast interview, they hit me with some super basic coding questions and asked about my work style. Also threw in some questions about my experience with kids and how I teach them.
- Could you explain a basic coding idea, like variables, to a child?
- What's your preferred way of working?
- Tell me about your experience teaching or working with children.
