Senior Program Manager
So, after chatting with the recruiter (who's actually from a 3rd party), there were two interview rounds. The first was pretty casual, just to see if I'd fit in. Then, the second round was a more formal competency-based interview with two directors, and I had to give a 20-minute presentation. They told me how many people were applying at each step, but it turns out they weren't upfront about that. They also didn't give feedback when they said they would, I had to chase them for it. I got the feeling they liked people doing a bunch of prep, but didn't offer much back. I reckon they might have been after ideas, and maybe the job wasn't even real, or they had someone in mind already.
- Considering the current business climate, how would you make a strong impression on us?
Program Manager
The interview process started with an HR phone screen, followed by a 30-minute call with the hiring manager. Then, there was a 1-hour online test to complete at home. The onsite meeting included watching a 12-minute visitor video. After that, there was a 30-minute meeting with an HR rep to go over benefits and take a timed Wonderlic test. This was followed by a panel interview with 5 members, lasting over an hour. I didn't get the onsite tour that was mentioned. About two and a half weeks later, I withdrew my application because HR didn't give me any updates on my application status. I pursued other job opportunities.
- Can you provide examples of projects you've managed that didn't go as planned?

Program Manager
It was a 3-step interview process. Mostly situational questions, but also included behavioral, math, and deductive tests. The first step was with HR, the second with the hiring manager, and the final one involved the hiring manager, a Director, and senior HR.

- Tell me about a time when...
