Behavioral

Met CNA at my college's Job Fair. They reached out for an interview, which consisted of three 30-minute sessions. I spoke with a Risk Management Director and two Risk Management Associates. It was a standard interview format, and we finished early enough to have time for my questions.

Behavioral Technical

It was a telephonic interview. The email said it would be mostly technical with questions on programming and modeling. However, the interview was completely different and focused on behavioral questions. When asked for clarification, they admitted it might have been a mistake on their end. I had a very poor experience due to this unexpected shift. It's surprising how such errors can occur in a professional setting.

  • Standard behavioral questions were asked.

Behavioral Technical

Had a quick phone screen, then two more full interviews with Senior Leadership. The interviews were a bit dry, and they didn't have great things to say about the role. They were honest though, mentioning that whoever got the job would be overworked and lack support/training. The most frustrating part was the lack of a callback. Normally, we might just email a candidate after a phone screen, but after multiple interviews, a courtesy call to let them know we chose someone else is standard. With CNA, I heard nothing for weeks, so I emailed for an update. They sent a copy-paste response saying they received my resume but were moving forward with other candidates. I know they got my resume because they interviewed me multiple times. If this is how they communicate with potential employees, it must be a terrible place to work.
