Paid Social Analyst
CMI is a pretty good company, but the interview process felt a bit hurried and wasn't super clear. The interviewer was late, and the salary mentioned in the job description was different from what was discussed during the interview. It was lower, which was a letdown, so I stopped the process.
- Have you managed junior team members before?

The hiring process shows they value substance and professionalism. It starts with a quick recruiter chat for basic info. Then, there's a panel interview to see if you're a good fit. After that, you get a data and presentation assignment to complete in a week. Finally, you have a meeting with your potential manager for feedback. This is a solid process. The only downside is it can take a while, likely due to HR needing sign-offs from busy employees and a large candidate pool. The people involved were great.
- Can you describe your typical work activities?
- What specific contributions have you made that led to improved business results?
Associate Director
A recruiter reached out about openings. I interviewed with 3 teams in Q2. One didn't work out, but two gave positive feedback. However, they promoted internally. The recruiter said they'd look for other roles in the next quarters. We reconnected in Q4, and after a hiring panel with leadership, I got an offer the following week. The interviews were pretty standard and conversational. Just preparing stories based on the job description should be enough. I also want to thank the recruiters for being responsive and nice.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Can you share an experience of managing a team?
- Tell me about your media planning background.
Media Planner
I applied in early December and had my two virtual interviews shortly after. It took about a month to hear back, finally getting an update in mid-January. This waiting period is typical for me when I apply to jobs; I often get interviewed and then don't hear anything back. The people I met were all great and gave me a good sense of the role. They asked questions about my experience and why I'm interested in the pharmaceutical industry.
