Risk Management Analyst
I was set up for a 3-person interview by HR via email. I got there 15 mins early but they took me back 10 mins late. The email said Head Mgr, Medium mgr, Analyst for the order. But, the Analyst, who was chill but seemed out of it and not ready, interviewed me first. Then the Head Manager came down, asked some basic behavioral questions for 10 mins, and then rushed off to a meeting he was already late for. The Medium Mgr was sick, so another Analyst who was also friendly took over. It was a bad experience overall. People dressed casually, didn't read my resume (the mgr said it was the first time he saw it), and the interview order was messed up and late. It felt unprofessional. I declined a second round because of this.

- What is the price for options considering time?
- Let's talk about risk management in derivatives, like non-linear exposures.
Risk Analyst
I had an interview with a senior risk analyst. First, she asked me about a project I did that was relevant to the role. Then, she asked about 1-2 tech methods I used. After that, there were a few questions about related theories. Finally, she closed with some math questions.
- How many ways can the letters in the word ‘happy’ be arranged?
- There are three options with prices $12, $7, and $1, and strike prices of 10, 20, and 30 respectively. Can you identify an arbitrage opportunity and describe the strategy and cash flow?
- What is Value at Risk?
Risk Analyst
Had a phone interview first, then went on-site to meet with the team. The first two people I met were analyst team members, and the last one was the team head who was pretty aggressive during the interview.
- Can you explain Value at Risk (VaR)?
- Can you explain Conditional Value at Risk (CVaR)?
- Did you encounter any brain teasers?
