Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clyde & Co.
Associate Attorney
The interview was held virtually and was a positive experience. The interviewers were knowledgeable and open about the job expectations and the firm's atmosphere. They mentioned that the firm operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days in the office. It was not clear which department needed an additional attorney, and it seemed unlikely that either interviewer would be the direct supervisor for this position. I sent a follow-up thank you email to both individuals, but I haven't received any communication from them or the firm since.
- Can you tell me about the areas of law you have the most experience with?
Trainee Lawyer
The interview process involved three rounds. First, there was an HR interview. Second, a commercial group exercise was conducted in front of partners. Third, an individual interview with partners took place. My advice is to be yourself and answer as best as you can.
- Why did you decide to pursue a career in law?
- What is your motivation for choosing Clyde & Co.?
Avocat collaborateur
The interview was relaxed and partly in English. The associate was friendly, clear, and open about the firm, their team, and what they're looking for. No tricky or intrusive questions.
- What is your English proficiency level?
