First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clyde & Co.
Summer Vacation Scheme
After getting past the initial online application, I had to do pre-recorded video interviews. There were five questions in total. The first four were situational, where I had to look at fake emails and video calls and then say how I would handle things. The last question was asking about my interest in Clyde&Co.
- How would you respond to the given scenarios involving faux emails and video calls?
- Why are you interested in Clyde&Co?
Intern
It was an assessment centre, which was difficult and I didn’t feel equipped even though they ‘prepared’ us. There was a written task, a group task and a role task with a few questions attached at the end. It was a little unclear and difficult to follow, and my peers felt the same.
- Why Clyde & Co?
- Tell me about a time you had to juggle many tasks at once.
Intern
It was a pretty relaxed interview, no tough questions were asked. It was more scenario-based. The interviewers were really nice and encouraging. No technical questions at all, just knowing your CV and personality well was enough. The whole thing took about 45 minutes.
- Tell me about your experience working in a team.
- Describe a time you had to deal with difficulties.
- How do you typically approach solving a problem?
