First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Club Med.
Product Owner
I had a 1-hour video call with HR as the first step. It was a typical HR interview where I summarized my background and answered situational questions. I never heard back from them after the interview, which I think is the least they could do after I spent an hour talking to them.
- Which agile ceremony do you think is the most important?
Travel Experience Designer
I had a phone call which wasn't scheduled, but the HR asked if we could proceed. It lasted about 30 minutes and included questions in two languages because it was a bilingual post. After that, she offered to do a Zoom interview with the manager, and it was set for the next day. The Zoom meeting was also about 30 minutes, went very smoothly, and they also spoke in two languages.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- Describe a time you handled a difficult customer.
- What attracts you to Club Med?
Intern
I had questions about my resume, like "What were your biggest achievements at another company?" and "Why do you want to intern here?" Then there was an in-person English test, Excel test, and logic test. I had 1 hour for the tests. The environment and office were nice. Good pay and benefits.
- Tell me about your previous work experience and how you handled challenges.
- What motivated you to apply for this internship?
Procurement Specialist
Applied online. Manager called for a quick initial chat and to schedule an interview. Since the position needed to be filled quickly, the interview was an hour long with both the manager and their N+2. HR called to confirm. The whole process took a week, but I asked for and was granted a deadline for my decision. HR let me know they would continue interviewing but the role was held for me until the agreed date. I called the manager before the deadline to accept the offer. No response. I tried again the next day, but my calls wouldn't go through, and the manager had blocked my number... I emailed HR, and they replied very briefly that the position had been filled. Lack of straightforwardness and honesty, I do not recommend.
- What suggestion do you have to improve the purchasing process?
