Senior Associate
It was a smooth interview process with senior partners, and everyone was really nice and direct. HR made things easy. They were really open about the benefits, what they needed, and the pay. I'd definitely suggest this place.
- Can you share your experience and explain how you would manage specific crisis scenarios?
Associate
I found the job on LinkedIn and someone reached out a few days later about a video call with a partner and another senior person. The very next day, they asked me to meet with two more partners. I followed up after that second meeting, but didn't hear back. They had mentioned a writing test at the start, but I guess I didn't get far enough for that. Everyone I met was really nice and easy to talk to. I liked meeting the team. The interviews felt more like chats than interrogations, which was nice. Even though I didn't get an offer, they all seemed genuinely interested in me and what I've done. I enjoyed meeting with the team.
- Can you share an example of a communications or PR campaign you were involved in?
- Imagine a client faces a PR crisis; how would you guide them through it based on a provided scenario?
Associate
I applied online and heard back from CLS in a day or two for a phone screening. The phone screening was about 15 minutes and had standard questions. Then, I went to the office for an in-person interview with two Senior Associates, which was about 30 minutes. After that, I had a 3-hour writing test the following week, which I finished on time. I never heard back from CLS, even after emailing them.
- Tell me about your background.
- What actions would you take in challenging client scenarios?
- How do you maintain organization?
