First, a recruiter gave me a call. Then, I talked to the hiring manager, followed by two chats with people on related teams. Finally, I had a call with the hiring manager's boss, who's a director, to check things out further. Scheduling and getting everything done wasn't too bad.

Behavioral Technical Case

I had an amazing experience with Cloudmed! I had a screening with the TA director and she was really nice and informative. Right after the interview, she sent me a case study and it was honestly really interesting. After 1 business day, she got back to me and asked for my availability to schedule 2 back to back interviews. That same week I was able to interview. My interview with the manager and director was very enjoyable. They made the interview feel so personable and not so formal. Days later I received an offer and felt like the pay was comparable to market rate. I accepted it and worked with the recruiting coordinator who was also very helpful. Unfortunately, something came up and I had to withdraw my offer. It was a hard decision to turn down my offer but one day if the opportunity arises, I would definitely want to work for Cloudmed.

The director of talent acquisition reached out for a 30 minute iphone screening. Basic questions, nothing out of the ordinary. After the phone screening, I was sent an extensive case study to complete with maybe 2-3 lines of instructions / explanations. This took me about 2.5 hours to complete. I had to send it back by the end of business day. I was then sent an email asking for my availability for the ‘interview’ portion which was then scheduled for the following week. It was two back to back zoom interviews - one 30 minute interview with a manager, one 15 minute break and then another 30 minute interview with the director. The process was smooth and basic interview questions were asked.

I spoke with a recruiter first who screened me. Then I had to do an assessment with 38 questions, and I got a 94, missing only 2. Right after that, I had an interview with the manager. It seemed to go well, and she understood that my auditing background is in compliance, which is similar to RCM experience. She explained that their audits aren't for compliance and asked if I'd have an issue not starting from the beginning of a visit but working with the rules that appear for each account. I said it sounded easier and less time-consuming and answered more questions. She said she'd talk to the director, who would be the next interview, and get back to me. I was expecting that second interview, but it never happened. I sent a nice follow-up email to the manager I interviewed with. Then the recruiter told me they were moving forward with other candidates. I'm surprised because I've been a contractor in this field for years and was actually looking forward to a permanent role and learning ReVint's auditing methods for their clients. This is the second time I've interviewed for an auditing job. They know what I do now, so why even test and interview me if I'm not a good fit?
