Marketing
The interview process is pretty long, but they're upfront about it. No take home or presentation needed for this marketing role. It starts with a recruiter screen, then a hiring manager chat. After that, there's a six-person panel, with each person talking for 30-45 minutes. Then, a three-person ELT panel, each for 30 minutes. If you get an offer, there's a quick 15-minute chat with the CEO. The only unusual part is what they call an OrangeCloud interview, where someone outside your field, who you likely won't work with, asks three "tell me about a time" or "how did you deal with" behavioral questions about leadership and collaboration. Honestly, the recruiters were not great, really poor communication and they don't seem to care. You'll probably have to chase them for an update if you don't hear back. It took me 10 days and a bunch of emails, even to the HM, to find out where I stood after the six-person panel.

After about 6 months from when I first applied, a recruiter reached out via email. Then I had a phone call with the hiring manager where we discussed the job's responsibilities and my past work experience. We had a good connection initially, but it wasn't the same during the onsite interviews. The team and the interviews themselves were enjoyable, but ultimately it didn't result in an offer. Overall, I had a positive experience with the company and plan to watch for future openings.

Marketing
Applied online and had a quick phone interview with the recruiter, then the hiring manager. Came in for a 3-hour in-person interview with marketing team members, which was enjoyable. Then, a second on-site interview for 2.5 hours with department heads and the founder; was impressed again. Was told there'd likely be one more round with the CEO, but after following up 3 times, never heard back from Cloudflare, despite nearly 7 hours of interviews and no courtesy email. It's a shame as I was excited about the company and role.
