Behavioral Case Presentation

It began with a recruiter call, though I'm not entirely sure about the full process. After that, I spoke with a hiring manager for a tough but fair discussion. He indicated I was moving forward, but didn't know to whom or what the next step involved. Then, I was scheduled for what turned out to be a mock discovery call, which I wasn't expecting. We had to reschedule it twice, but eventually had the mock discovery call, which was again challenging and fair. I don't think I got past that, and it's been weeks with no word on my status, not even a generic email.

Behavioral

I applied online and had the first interview with the hiring manager. It felt like a waste of time because they barely asked any real questions and just briefly described the role. They seemed uninterested from the start. I ended up asking most of the questions about the job, the team, and the company because they didn't have much to ask me. I got a generic rejection email later that week. It's unclear what their selection criteria are since they didn't question me much. This reminds me of a past experience with them, making me wonder if they just conduct these interviews to appear active in hiring.

Technical Behavioral Presentation Case

The interview process was great. Instead of an HR call about the job, salary, or benefits, the first interview was a video call with the sales director. They gave me a prospecting test to complete after the first or second round, which I liked because it was hands-on and showed how I actually do the job. HR then set up my second round, a panel interview with four employees from different departments. They were all friendly and had unique interview styles. While I didn't like the Amazon-style situational questions, one panelist asking them made me feel better because they were evaluating me from all perspectives. The final interview was a brief and direct meeting with an SVP or C-level executive.
