For the sales engineer role in Canada, the process included a couple of phone screens, followed by functional and technical assessments over the phone. After being shortlisted, I was invited to Vegas for the final interview, which involved a mocked-up technical presentation. The interviewers and hiring managers were great, and the compensation is generous. The company's vision seems limited to expansion and growing the global sales force. However, the hiring process was very spotty, lengthy, and disorganized. Reimbursement for interview travel expenses took over two months. The HR contact left their position two weeks after our initial contact, and the transition seemed more difficult for them than necessary.

The whole thing took over two months, which makes sense because they really care about who they hire and making sure people fit. It started with a recruiter screener, then I had two technical interviews with my future peers, followed by a panel presentation, and then a bunch of interviews with managers. Most of these were phone calls. The people were really nice though, and you actually learn stuff during the interviews.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

It started with HR screening, then a couple of technical interviews, after that a meeting with management, and finally with a board from different lines of business. I really liked how they conducted the interview and how professional they were. They tried to find out how good you are from basic knowledge to advanced topics, evaluating technical, business, and soft skills.
