Technical Behavioral Presentation

I applied on their website and heard back from a recruiter about a week later. Then I chatted with another TAM, followed by the team manager, a Systems Engineer, and an Account Executive. These calls were a mix of technical stuff (Java, Unix) and how I handle client situations. I was then invited for an on-site interview, which included a presentation about Hadoop. The on-site kicked off with my presentation, and they asked a question about the demo. After that, I met individually with the director, a Systems engineer, and two account executives. The interviews felt similar to the phone screens, but we also discussed architectural patterns. I got the offer after talking with the VP of Sales. Overall, it was the most professional interview process I've been through.

Behavioral Other

They put you through many rounds of interviews, it feels like they never end, at least 5-6 rounds for an account manager role. It's more interviews than getting into Harvard. They never tell you what the next step is, they just keep sending interview requests. I find it a waste of time, especially since I was only interviewing for an account manager role.

The interview process included several rounds, some with subject matter experts and the hiring manager. It began in August and is still in progress. There were three phone and Skype interviews, followed by a panel presentation at Cloudera's Budapest office.
