I started with a math test that had questions about measurements and percentages. I was allowed to use my phone calculator, and so was the person next to me. After that, I met with a manager who asked me some questions about myself and my past experiences, and how I handle stress.

They started with a presentation about the job and how the pay works (commission-based). Then I had a 1-on-1 with the sales manager. After that, there was a phone screen before the in-person meeting. The whole thing was pretty short, only about 30 minutes and they asked basic stuff.

When I arrived, I had to fill out employment forms which they wanted back by the end of the meeting. It was efficient, I guess, if they were planning on hiring everyone who attended. It felt a bit presumptive, like they expected us to want to join after just an hour-long presentation and tour. They did give us some time for short individual chats so we could ask our own questions, but they should have given us a heads-up when they said we'd be interviewing with the owner – I was expecting more of a traditional interview setup.
