Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clearwater Analytics (CWAN).
Billing Analyst
Had a good experience overall. It started with an HR call, then a chat with the manager I'd be reporting to, and finally, a meeting with a senior director. They mainly asked about daily tasks, teamwork, and why I'd be a good fit.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are your typical daily responsibilities?
- How do you approach working with a team?
Senior Analyst
The interview process started with a coding test that included DSA questions, and some questions needed to be answered using Java. After that, there was an in-person interview round.
- What are the concepts related to Stack and Java?
Analyst
The interview process was tough and over-complicated. If you're good at testing and everything technical about your skills and can spout them out off the top of your head you'll be good. They seem to overlook experience, character, and personality and base their hiring off of technical expertise alone. Which isn't a bad thing, but if you're looking for a position to learn and adapt to and be a hard-working employee but don't know one or two of the programs/codes listed, don't bother applying for the position at this company.
- Given 8 basketballs, where 7 have equal weight and 1 is slightly heavier, how can you find the heavier basketball using a two-ended scale only twice?
