The interview process was pretty simple, nothing too crazy. It started with some basic questions about my background and then moved into a couple of technical questions. There were two interviewers. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience.

I had a video call with a recruiter for a Salesforce Business Analyst position. The call went well overall—the recruiter mentioned that they liked my background and said they would try to schedule a follow-up interview with the hiring manager. After that, I heard nothing for a while. No updates, no timeline, no communication—until I eventually received a generic rejection email. It was disappointing given the initial interest expressed during the call. While I understand that not every candidate moves forward, a simple follow-up or clearer communication would have gone a long way in showing respect for the applicant’s time and effort.

Behavioral Technical Case

I applied for this role in late March and went through a bunch of interviews over the next several weeks. It included a phone screen, a personality test, and then interviews with department heads and regional leaders. After I thought it went well, I was told on May 1, 2025, that they weren't hiring for the role then. Soon after, a different recruiter reached out about what seemed like the same job but in another department (May 16, 2025). Even though I was worried about doing it all over again, I went for it, put in the work to prepare, and did another round of interviews. Sadly, I got rejected again right after the second set of interviews, with almost no explanation. It was a letdown, and it felt all over the place. Doing the interviews multiple times for the same job, then getting rejected twice without clear reasons, made me feel like my time and effort weren't appreciated. It felt like candidates are just a box to check, not actual people who put in time and effort.

Behavioral Technical

The recruiter set up the initial interview with the hiring manager and team pretty fast. I had to do a behavioral assessment, which was quick. The interview itself was about 45 minutes and covered my background and how I handle different situations. Everyone on the team was nice. The interview times were a bit tricky with my schedule, so I had to take time off work. They said I'd hear back in about two weeks. After two weeks with no word, I contacted the recruiter but got no response. Another two weeks passed, and I saw on my candidate page that I wasn't selected. It was frustrating to miss work time and prepare for an interview, only to get no communication about the status. It felt unprofessional.
