Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had heard some negative things about interviews, but I was still hopeful because it seemed like the company was trying to rebuild and I'm up for that. However, the hiring process was really not great. It felt like they were just stringing me along while they already had someone in mind for the job. It started with a quick screening call, then a meeting with the manager, then a meeting with a team member, and finally an assignment. I spent a lot of time over the weekend on the assignment, but just as I was about to submit it on Monday, they told me the position was filled. When I had to reschedule an interview because I was very sick, I was told the reason I wasn't hired was a 'timing issue'. It's a lot of work to prepare for interviews and learn about a company, and I felt like my time was disrespected, especially after the first time. I was understanding because I know how tough it can be to keep things organized with candidates. I even reached out to the same recruiter for a different role, was told my application would be noted, and never heard back. It seems like there's a bit of chaos as they try to reorganize and rebuild. I gave them a pass after the first bad experience because mistakes happen. But after being ghosted twice, I felt I should share my experience.

Michelle reached out personally on LinkedIn and I spoke with HR shortly after. I mentioned I have kids and can't stay late but would gladly work at home for as long as needed. I didn't get past the first interview, clearly they don't want people with families and are biased against working moms. Shame on them.

It was a smooth process. Began with a call where they asked good questions about the role and set expectations. Then I went in to meet the Director of Sales who explained the role and expectations. They also asked lifestyle questions to see if I'd be a culture fit. Finally, I met with the VP of Sales and Director of Sales. It went well and wasn't intimidating; they made me feel comfortable. They gave a realistic timeframe to hear back and stuck to it. I had two other offers at this point, but Clearbanc stood out.
