I had a phone interview with HR that was a bit technical, but the interviewer was really nice and understanding. The next day, I got a take-home test on lytmus.io that took about 4 hours. It was time-consuming but not too hard, which I think is a good way for companies to see if you can actually code and debug. The day after that, HR contacted me again, said I did well on the test, and invited me to the office to meet some devs the following week. I met with 3 people who were all great. It wasn't super technical, more like a conversation about my previous job and the technologies I used. It was almost enjoyable because they were so nice and interesting! I got the offer but declined because it wasn't a great fit for me. The HR person asked about dealing with high priority issues over the weekend, which made me nervous since I never had to do that before. They also typically worked 9-5, which is different from my previous job's flexibility, and I disliked their open office plan. The biggest issue was the reviews about mandatory overtime, which HR confirmed for "key engineers" and said that 50+ hour work weeks are normal in tech, which I disagree with and don't want.

I was contacted by a recruiter on StackOverflow. Then I had an appointment with a senior HR Director to discuss my background and the job details. After that, I was given a programming challenge to complete at home and submit the source code. Finally, I had a 2-hour onsite interview with two different teams, with two people from each team.
