Partner Support Specialist
It was a pretty chill interview process, even more so because of COVID. There were two interviews. The first was a 30-minute phone call with HR about why I wanted to join the company. The second interview was on Google Meet where we could all see each other. They asked for more details about my experience and why I wanted to work there. Everyone was really nice and it wasn't intimidating at all.
- What makes you want to join our company?

Software Engineer
I had a phone interview with HR that was a bit technical, but the interviewer was really nice and understanding. The next day, I got a take-home test on lytmus.io that took about 4 hours. It was time-consuming but not too hard, which I think is a good way for companies to see if you can actually code and debug. The day after that, HR contacted me again, said I did well on the test, and invited me to the office to meet some devs the following week. I met with 3 people who were all great. It wasn't super technical, more like a conversation about my previous job and the technologies I used. It was almost enjoyable because they were so nice and interesting! I got the offer but declined because it wasn't a great fit for me. The HR person asked about dealing with high priority issues over the weekend, which made me nervous since I never had to do that before. They also typically worked 9-5, which is different from my previous job's flexibility, and I disliked their open office plan. The biggest issue was the reviews about mandatory overtime, which HR confirmed for "key engineers" and said that 50+ hour work weeks are normal in tech, which I disagree with and don't want.
- Can you explain the distinction between an abstract class and an interface?
- Tell me about your previous role and the technologies you utilized.
- Describe your experience with handling high-priority issues on weekends and your thoughts on it.
Software QA Lead
So after HR screening, I had two more interviews, each about an hour long. The first was with the then-SQA Lead and a Developer, and the second was with the Director of UX and a Senior Architecture Developer. It was a really good process. The first round was mostly about seeing if I was a good fit for the SQAI role and why I wanted it. The second round was more technical, with some challenging questions and asking me how I'd handle a project in different situations. I really enjoyed the people I met with and felt like we connected well even in just an hour.

Appraisal Team Lead
All interviews went extremely well, 3 total with the final being with a VP. Problem is NO ONE ever called me back or followed up after 1.5 months. Extremely disappointing to have 3 fairly high level interviews only to be ghosted by both recruiters. Says all I need to know about the company and their culture. Happy I didn't get an offer at this point but no follow up is just ridiculous.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- What skills and experience do you possess that would be beneficial for this role?
