Credit Risk Analyst
I applied online and about a week later, I got a call to do an assessment. Another week passed and then I was invited for an in-person interview. It consisted of two 30-minute interviews with four people in total: the Ops Manager, two team leads, and a senior analyst. Two days after that, they called me with a job offer.
- Can you share an example of a typical situational question you might ask?
- Could you describe a hypothetical situation and ask a question about it?

I applied and about two weeks later, I got a call for a phone interview. It went pretty well, so they emailed me a case study and a writing sample to do. About a week after I sent that in, they emailed back saying they liked my submission and wanted to do a one-on-one interview and a panel interview with three managers. In those interviews, they asked a lot of questions similar to the case study, plus some new ones, like why a house in a neighborhood might have depreciated by a certain amount. They mostly asked about my past experiences and how I've handled challenges and worked with others. They said they'd be in touch soon because they wanted to make a quick decision, but it took three months to hear back that I wasn't selected.
- Can you explain why a specific house in a neighborhood might have lost value?
- What would you use to evaluate a loan?
Credit Risk Analyst
I got an email to do an assessment and case study. A few days later, they called me to schedule an interview. I missed the call and called the HR rep back, leaving a voicemail, but she didn't call back. I emailed her, and still no response. I finally got through to her a couple days later and set up an in-person interview with 2 leads and a manager. The HR rep said she'd send a confirmation email but never did. An hour before the interview, I got an email saying the time changed from 10 to 10:30. I arrived at 10:15, and the HR rep admitted she messed up the time and it was actually 10. I didn't have a chance after that. The manager and leads were nice, but one mistake can cost you the job, especially since they're only hiring one person. The pay is pretty low, but I really wanted the opportunity. Terrible HR management though.
- What is your dream job?
