Applied online and got a call from a recruiter the same day. Had a 30-minute chat with the recruiter, then got scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. The interview with the manager went really well, and I was super excited about the job and the company. He seemed really interested and engaged during our talk. Before I could even ask about what's next, he laid out what to expect for the technical part. The next day, I followed up with the recruiter, telling them how much I enjoyed the interview with the manager. The recruiter mentioned that someone would reach out about next steps soon. The day after that, I got a standard rejection email.

Got referred by a current employee so I skipped the typical recruiter phone screen, but I did have a quick chat with the CEO. The interview itself had four distinct parts. The first 45 minutes were with an engineering manager, covering things like team process and how I work with others. Then, there were three separate one-hour sessions with an engineer. I've been through many interviews, and ClassPass was unusual in that they didn't ask standard college CS algorithm problems. Instead, they focused on practical, real-world engineering tasks. Also, they weren't just trying to stump me – the interviewers were collaborative, which made it easier to showcase my skills, even though I was nervous.

A recruiter from ClassPass reached out to me online. The interview process kicked off with some email exchanges followed by a phone conversation. Next, there was a technical phone screen where I was asked to solve a dynamic programming problem, which was a bit unusual since I had to explain the solution without a shared screen. Lastly, I had an in-person interview day with several Software Engineers. There was no follow-up from anyone at the end of the day, and I didn't get an offer, so I'm assuming that's why I never heard back. Overall, it was a negative experience.
