The interview process here is really long, like over 8 interviews total. It takes a lot of hours and has several stages, plus a take-home test. There was also this weird, random quiz about a "calculator product" that didn't seem to relate to a legal job at all, felt really outdated. The company itself seems pretty cool, but considering its size and the salary, the interview process feels disproportionate. A lot of the interviews asked the exact same questions repeatedly, which felt like a red flag, suggesting they're looking for a very specific, hard-to-find person to fix some major company issues. However, the interviews I did have were fine; everyone was prepared and nice, and it would have been great to work with them.

Product Marketing Lead
The process is a lot for a senior leader…multiple interviews with HR, the hiring manager, team members, etc and a project where they ask for free consulting/problem-solving for the job you’re interviewing for. Each interview asks the same questions multiple times, and in my case, they asked questions for a different job than the one I was interviewing for. Talk about amateur hour. On the flip side, I’m glad I met with the hiring manager multiple times bec I wouldn’t have known it was a bad fit for me if we only spoke once. The people I met with had very odd egos. They admitted to needing help, yet acted like experts in everything.
- What's your proposed solution for our product marketing challenge?
Software Engineer
The interview process had 3 technical rounds. These were all about system design, coding, and product engineering questions. It was pretty standard for senior engineering roles: first a recruiter screen, then multiple tech interviews with engineers. The logistics were fine and communication was organized. But the vibe was kinda off. Interviewers were technically good, but they didn't bother building rapport or making it comfortable before asking questions. They talked a lot about where they used to work (big name tech companies), which felt like bragging rather than actual conversation. Also, all the interviewers were men. When I asked about diversity on the engineering team, they said they had a 'pipeline problem,' which was disappointing and showed they weren't really focused on diversity or inclusion. The interviews felt more like being judged than collaborating, and it wasn't a very welcoming environment. So, it was a tough technical process, but the interview culture felt focused on prestige and lacked diversity and warmth.
- Can you tell me about your background?
Concept Artist
The hiring process took several months and included multiple rounds. Initially, I spoke with some team members directly involved with the role. Later on, the interviews became more focused on leadership qualities. Towards the end, there was an interview that was heavily behavioral, though it felt unusual compared to the others and bordered on inappropriate. The person conducting this specific interview also wasn't directly relevant to the position.
- What is a belief you hold?
- In what ways could that belief be used for negative purposes?
