Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clark Hill.
Associate
It wasn't a super scary experience, mostly focused on whether you'd fit into the company culture. They want to talk about your experience and goals. Make sure you show you're into entrepreneurship because the company really cares about business development. The whole process takes a while because you have to meet with a bunch of partners and leaders from different business units and directors.
- Can you tell me about your skill set?
- Tell me about your experience.
- What are your career goals?
Summer Associate
It was a two-stage interview process. The first interview was short, about 30 minutes to an hour, with one lawyer. The second interview was longer, about two hours, with several lawyers, and each meeting was around 30 minutes. After that, I got an offer call a few days later.
- Can you tell us about your resume?
- What can you tell us about your classes?
- What can you tell us about your grades?
Associate
The interviewer was nice and seemed to be honest about the job, which wasn't super exciting but was still different from the boring work I was doing at my job back then. I didn't get an offer in the end because they decided they wanted to hire someone at a partner level instead.
- Could you tell me about the amount of work you typically handle?
