Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clarivate.
Software Engineer
The interview process was pretty good, each part was interesting and laid out well. Everyone was polite and friendly. They gave feedback and communicated professionally and respectfully. The technical interview really felt like they were checking if I could do the job, not asking about obscure details like some other places do.
- Can we discuss general system design topics?
- Tell me about your overall experience.
- What does this code do?
Software Engineer
Interview process started in January with L1 round being virtual. L2 round was a F2F round and was a managerial round, but nothing specifically asked kind of vague. But even after weeks of attending the f2f and despite multiple follow-ups, there has been no response from HR. Calls and messages were not returned.Even a rejection mail would have been appreciated instead of complete silence.
- Could you describe your most recent project, including its purpose and your final implementation?
Software Engineer
The first round was an online assessment with 2 coding questions and 5-6 MCQs covering aptitude and CS fundamentals. The difficulty was generally easy, with coding questions ranging from easy to medium. Practicing array and string problems beforehand is recommended as they are common and were considered easy if practiced.
- Coding questions related to strings and arrays were asked in the assessment.
