First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Clario.
Senior Test Automation Engineer
It was interactive and they'll ask more about frameworks and API testing. They'll cover the fundamentals. Oh, and concepts like coding and situational questions. They're looking for knowledge in Katalon, Selenium, and Java, and also about API status codes. Mobile testing is also on the table.
- Tell me about frameworks and API testing.
- What are the fundamentals of testing concepts?
- Can you answer some coding questions?
Medical Writer
The interview process was good. I had an initial call with Sebastian who set me up an interview over Teams with another member for the Clario team. The interview was engaging and informative. After weeks of silence post-interview, I emailed Sebastian who informed me that they decided to move the position to the States. This was not only disheartening but felt like a huge waste of my time. If you aren’t willing to hire from the country you’re advertising in, do not waste people’s time.
- In what ways can your past work experience be beneficial for this role?
Data Analyst
The interview had two interviewers. The first part was technical, covering basic SQL questions and theory. The interviewer was strict about specific keywords and didn't seem to appreciate nuanced answers. The coding part was similar; my solution worked but was marked wrong because it didn't use a specific function they were looking for. The second half was behavioural, and that interviewer was more conversational and pleasant. They asked standard questions about teamwork and personal growth. It felt like a good cop/bad cop setup.
- Can you explain the difference between HAVING and WHERE clauses in SQL?
- How would you find the second highest-paid employee in the employee table?
- Please explain Inner, Left, and Right joins.
Product Manager
I was contacted by an internal recruiter via LinkedIn for a role. The entire process took 10 weeks and involved a lot of back-and-forth from my side and delays. I made it to the final round and things were looking very promising, but then I was informed that the company had decided to put the product team roles on hold until the new year, and they might or might not be reactivated then. It was a complete waste of my time, and I won't be pursuing opportunities with a company that doesn't value potential employees' time. Stages included an initial screening, a first interview with two product leads, a second interview with a product lead, and a third final interview with the wider team that ultimately didn't happen.
- Can you walk me through a product you've built from conception to launch?
- Tell me about your product development process.
