I had a virtual interview on Teams with a manager and supervisor. It lasted about 30 minutes. It wasn't too technical, mainly a review of my resume and experience. They talked about what the job entails, like maybe traveling sometimes, and I got to ask them a lot of questions.

Got recruited via on-campus career services in MN, did an on-campus interview, and mentioned wanting to work out of state. A week later, they contacted me from my desired location and asked about my travel plans for an interview. I planned it to attend one of their interview 'open houses.' They were hiring about 20 people at this location due to growth, so I was there with about 15 other candidates. The day ran from 9 AM to 2 PM, featuring two 30-minute interviews with partners, a 1-hour presentation about the firm and office tour, followed by lunch and a Q&A with Partners and First-Year Associates. I got my offer three business days later. It was a great experience and made my decision easy.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • One interviewer focused on general conversation, while the other asked specific behavioral questions like 'Tell me about a time...'; it was a bit of a shift to switch between them.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It was a pretty casual interview. I met with the recruiter, managers, and a partner. The company claimed to have a commercial practice, but I knew they didn't at the time. They seemed to avoid answering questions about the size and clients of their commercial practice.
