First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CivicPlus.
Analyst
We had three interview rounds. The first was a recruiter screening. Then, an interview with a future teammate for a technical assessment. Lastly, a panel interview with three people: the technical teammate, the department Director, and the VP who is the main stakeholder for the analytical report. This last round included presenting a take-home project and behavioral questions.

Technical Support Engineer
First, there was a quick phone interview about my resume and some behavioral questions, lasting about 20 minutes. Then, I got a short assessment. After that, I had a take-home project with a few scenarios to respond to, which took an hour. This included explaining http vs https, describing HTML code, handling a frustrated customer (Mary) who lost job applications, and a role-play scenario for the panel interview about a technology-troubled caller. The second interview was a panel interview, lasting about an hour, with mostly behavioral questions (90%). The technical questions were from the take-home assignment. They said they had other candidates to interview and no timeframe for when they'd contact me back. I heard back at the end of the week but didn't get an offer. They should have called this position Customer Support.

Client Support
The interview process involved three stages. It started with two phone calls: one with the recruiter and then one with the manager. After that, there was a face-to-face interview that included the Manager, Lead, Recruiter, and other relevant individuals. There was a slight delay between when I applied and when the first interview happened. However, the subsequent interviews were very prompt. The offer stage took a bit longer, which made me a bit anxious about whether I would be hired. I reached out to the recruiter, and Autumn was very helpful in responding to me quickly.

- Tell me about a time you were particularly proud of an accomplishment.
Product Marketing Manager
The interview process was disappointing. I was emailed times to schedule an interview and upon replying to the email within 24 hours, several of the times suggested were filled. We were able to compromise on a time, and I waited for 28 minutes for a late phone call. The interviewer explained that due to weather and traveling home she was worried she wouldn't make it in time to interview me. I would have been more understanding if I would have been notified in advance and rescheduled with her. However, she called and then said she couldn't interview me at this time because she had an interview in 2 minutes, thus she rescheduled for later that day. It would have been preferred to have been notified in advance that the interviewer couldn't make that time and to reschedule, but instead I wasted my time and didn't get to give my best at the interview.
- How do you keep yourself organized? How would you go about creating a marketing campaign? Have you ever had experience working remotely?
