Recruiter
I was sourced for a role on the Recruiting Team. The first meeting with the Talent Consultant was great; they shared Cityblock's future goals and my potential impact. The on-site interview, however, was disorganized. One interviewer left and was replaced by someone new who didn't know why I was there, having only been with the company for two days. The role's description shifted from the initial interview, feeling like they were trying to fit me into a different position. They also mentioned a lack of leadership for this role, which contradicted earlier information. I left feeling disappointed by the lack of alignment and the feeling that my time was wasted. Despite the disorganized interview process, the company itself is amazing, with great people and an inspiring mission. My intention is not to discourage others, but to suggest approaching the interview with flexibility, as the process might be uncoordinated and repetitive. Two weeks after the interview, I received an email stating I was still being considered but they were looking for better candidates and asked me to wait two more weeks. It's now been a month with no further contact.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Could you share an instance where you resolved an issue in your present job?
Recruiter
My interview process started with a recruiter call, followed by a couple of video interviews with the team. I completed the whole thing back in December. After the last interview, they said someone would reach out soon. A lot of time passed, so I emailed my initial interviewer. He said he was swamped but would get back to me shortly. More time passed, and it was the same thing. I eventually stopped trying to reach them because it was obvious they weren't interested, and their lack of communication wasn't something I wanted to deal with.
- Describe your teamwork skills.
Talent Acquisition Manager
It was a great experience overall. The teams I spoke with throughout the process were amazing. Mr. David was involved the whole time and I felt really connected. The process was fast, fun, and communication was great.
- Can you share an instance where you faced a challenge with a difficult team member and describe how you resolved it?
