I got the interview questions about an hour before the interview. Two or three people were asking questions, taking turns. The interviewers couldn't give me any comments or feedback. It was very structured, like a one-way conversation. They said they'd send feedback after things started, but I never got it.

The bar is high; be prepared. Everything will be organized for you. I applied online and got a quick response from HR for an interview. The first interview was a 2-hour session: 1.5 hours for panel questions with 4 interviewers, and the last 0.5 hours for a case study. This interview is tough because they're strict with time and want concise answers without rambling, so be ready and stay calm. Sometimes, interviewers interrupted to clarify if I misunderstood a question, which I found okay, but it might feel pushy to others. I asked for a 5-minute break before the case study, and it was granted. The second interview was a week later, a 30-minute cultural fit call with the hiring manager, which was more relaxed and less structured. Even though preparation and quick thinking were needed, all interviewers were friendly, professional, efficient, and organized. The process isn't dragged out over 3-4 rounds and weeks. They have high expectations for talent and move fast if they like you. I got an offer with great compensation, learning support, and benefits, but I declined to take a government job. I'd be happy to apply again to the City.
