It was an in-person interview with a panel of two people. They asked for the questions beforehand. We spent about three quarters of the time on the questions and the rest was for me to ask them questions. The process felt efficient, professional, and friendly.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Regarding food services, which has fluctuating costs like labor, food, and beverages, and controlling these is crucial, how would you collaborate with the Executive Chef and Food Services Supervisor to ensure our business operates within approved rates and fees, maintains approved Cost of Goods percentages, and remains profitable on external events? As the booking supervisor, you're responsible for contracts, reviewing Banquet Event Orders for fee accuracy, and annual benchmarking.

Thanks for getting back to me and for thinking about my application for the Admin/HR Intern job. I get that you need someone to come in for a face-to-face interview, and I appreciate the chance to apply again in January when I'll be able to be there in person. I'm looking forward to connecting again and hope to be a part of your team down the road. Thanks for your time and understanding.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied online and after a few weeks, the hiring manager contacted me to schedule a panel interview. The interview itself was really bad. The hiring manager was rude and asked questions that challenged my background. Given I've worked in Comms for over five years, I found their process to be the worst I've encountered. It's strange because this role is more of a social media and marketing job, as others have noted. They go to extreme lengths, like requiring a take-home package and written assignment after the first interview. Frankly, if you expect candidates to do an assignment, you should pay them. I won't be applying here again.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you tell us about your experience?
  • How many years of experience do you have in social media?
  • Could you describe the most recent campaign you worked on?
