Coding Behavioral Group

I applied to the Technology Development Program as part of the Autism at Work program. I met a representative at a career fair and was interested in the role and program because of their collaborative environment focus. I then had a screening interview, followed by a coding challenge where I received extended time as an accommodation. Citizens also provided a consultant to help me through the process, which was really great. The final interview was a panel interview that ran over time, but the interviewers were very understanding. Although I really liked the company and the offer, I had to decline due to external circumstances. I had already signed a lease, and the required 3-day-a-week office commute in Johnston, RI, even with relocation compensation, was a financial and personal risk due to high gas prices, future car payments, insurance rates, and past minor accidents. I needed to consider my financial situation as a new graduate with student loans.
