Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Citizens.
Data Management
They have HireVue for the first round, pretty much always. Then there's a coding assessment for round 2, but not everyone gets it. It involves hard and medium SQL, and easy Python. Still waiting to hear back.
- Tell me about a time you disagreed with a coworker and how you resolved it.
Risk Manager
I was contacted by HR and we spoke for about 45 minutes. She was great and I felt like I had a good shot based on her responses. She was very open and told me to email or call with any questions. The interview with the manager was pretty good. When I emailed a follow up thank you, he actually responded to tell me that my qualifications weren’t exactly what they were looking for. Some people don’t reply at all so I respect that he actually replied back.
- Regarding your experience, what experience do you have with physical security barriers?
Manager
The interview process took a bit of time, but I really enjoyed my experience with them. The recruiter and hiring manager were very knowledgeable. The recruiter also followed up after the interview to provide any feedback she had.
- Could you detail the various roles, highlighting those that might present difficulties and those where my strengths would be most beneficial?
