Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Citizens Disability.
Legal Associate
It was super weird. There was a panel of interviewers and other candidates all together, like a competition. Everyone was trying to answer questions the best they could. The worst was when they asked all 3 people the same question, and you had to make sure your answer was creative because you were the last one to speak.
- Can you tell me about a weakness you possess?
Legal Associate
I was in a group interview with two other people who also want to be attorneys. We were in a small conference room. I met with two panels, and both included the General Counsel. The other interviewers were senior associates. The interviews were conversational and there weren't any weird questions. It was a little tough to stand out initially because there were two other candidates, but it pushed me to come up with better answers. They asked about my experience with writing and oral advocacy, and if I was willing and available to travel.
- Can you describe your most challenging professional experience?
- Tell me about a challenging professional experience you've had.
- What is the most difficult professional experience you have encountered?
Legal Associate
It was a group interview where several candidates were interviewed by two managers, moving up the hierarchy. The questions were typical and straightforward. A follow-up brief interview with the COO felt like a formality.
- Tell me about a recent achievement you are proud of.
