The process was smooth. First, a screening round. Then, a 1-hour technical round. The final round will be a managerial round. Lastly, an HR round to discuss salary expectations, work culture, peaks, and negotiation.

Technical Coding

We had a 1-hour technical interview over Zoom for Python Automation, focusing on Selenium and Python basics. The technical interview included questions like reversing words in a string without split, reversing a list in descending order without sort, finding character frequency using list comprehension, the difference between *args and **kwargs, understanding 403 vs 404 status codes, handling dynamic dropdown elements, and identifying elements on Flipkart using XPath.

Technical Coding Behavioral

The first round was technical and all selenium related questions were asked. They even asked to write some code to test the understanding of the concepts. The second round was with the manager and no technical questions were asked. He rejected me stating I am not skilled in Selenium despite clearing a Selenium technical round with coding questions. He didn't ask a single question on the Technical aspect, which sounded weird. But if this is how the evaluation works, I really wonder how good this company and its policies are. One of the most pathetic interview experiences.
