Technical Behavioral Presentation

I was initially contacted by an IPS recruiter for this role, and a friend also referred me. They said we might get an offer the same day. I interviewed on Saturday, January 12th, 2019. There were two rounds: a technical one and a managerial one. After those, we waited an hour for the HR round where company policies were explained. Then, we had one-on-one CTC discussions. I asked for over a 30% raise. They said they'd check with management and update us Monday. No email arrived by Tuesday, January 15th, so I called the consultant. They confirmed I was selected but said the process would take time. Despite multiple follow-ups with HR and the HR lead, I received only empty promises. The HR eventually mentioned my CTC expectation was high, so I offered to negotiate. About a month later, a new HR called for a final discussion at their Powai office. Surprisingly, the person I met knew nothing about my hiring background. She stated that since I hadn't completed a year at my current company, they couldn't offer more than my current CTC. I disagreed, and she said she couldn't finalize it and would consult her manager. Two days later, I called the HR lead who handled my CTC discussion during the interview. She claimed my interview ratings weren't good enough and they got approval for a CTC equal to my current one. After much thought and discussion with my family, I called them back with a final offer of a 15% raise plus a joining bonus. Then, they called me to say the position was put on hold. I concluded that this company's hiring process was unprofessional and needs improvement.

This was the worst interview ever. It was a virtual interview over Zoom. The interviewer asked me questions and I was answering them, but then I mentioned I was having some issues and my mind wasn't working well. The interviewer then said that's it from his side and he'd ask HR to reschedule. However, late that night, I got an email saying I wasn't moving forward. My interview wasn't even fully finished, and I was rejected. It's disgusting. I will never come back here and will tell my friends not to either. The interview was on Oct 1st at 5 PM.

It was a walk-in for a Java Developer role. The first round was a technical aptitude test. The second round was a face-to-face interview where they asked core Java, Spring, and Hibernate questions. The third face-to-face round was focused on project-related information, essentially a managerial round. Overall, it was a good interview with all well-known questions.
