The interview was conducted by a Tech Lead from the team. After they asked me to introduce myself, they moved on to questions covering AWS, starting with basic concepts and progressing to scenario-based problems. They also asked similar questions about other tools like Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, Git, and Kubernetes.

The interview process had three rounds: Technical, Managerial, and HR. The technical round was in-depth about my domain and resume details. It went well as the interviewer was supportive. I advanced to the manager round, scheduled two days later. This round was unexpected; it wasn't technical but focused on general questions about my current organization's processes, my responsibilities, and Agile methodologies, including notice period discussions. It concluded positively, but just two hours later, I received an email stating they couldn't proceed. I don't expect a detailed explanation, but I think if the notice period was an issue, the HR should have clarified that only immediate joiners should apply during the initial call. It leaves a candidate wondering what went wrong.

There were a total of 4 interviews: 1) Technical, 2) Management, 3) HR, and 4) Management again after HR. It was a terrible experience. The interviews themselves were straightforward, but the HR department was awful at providing any updates. They'd tell you you passed all rounds, take all your documents, and make empty promises without sending an offer letter. HR ghosted my calls, emails, and messages. If you're looking for interview practice, go for it, but don't expect an offer.
