We started with a call from HR to go over the job details and ask about my background. Then, there was a Zoom interview with the hiring manager, followed by a round with two interviewers. Everyone was really nice and professional during the interviews.

A recruiter contacted me for an online interview with a director. About 30 minutes before the scheduled time, I got a message that it would be delayed by 10-20 minutes. The interview started pretty ordinarily, with no pleasantries or role explanation. I presented my background and work examples using the STAR method. Then came the questions. I had prepared beforehand and was keen to learn about the types of projects the person in this role would undertake. However, the interviewer's responses were brief and dismissive, basically saying 'it's clearly stated in the JD...' which it wasn't, neither in the JD nor in the financial reports. I felt like it was just a formality.
