The interview process started with a phone interview containing some questions. After about three weeks, I got a take-home assignment where I had to design and verify something based on given specs. The third stage was an onsite interview two weeks later. The onsite experience was quite negative; the interviewers seemed unprepared. One interviewer sent someone else in their place, and the head of the division made comments that seemed to belittle my past work. My potential manager was unfriendly and didn't even greet me, suggesting he wasn't interested. However, other interviewers were pleasant, and their questions felt like a good discussion. In one round, interviewers couldn't assess my solution because they were 'out of touch with the problem,' which felt disrespectful of my time. It seemed like they might have already chosen someone or were using me for practice. I felt my time and effort were wasted.
