Applied online and a recruiter reached out. Then I chatted with a few HR folks. My interview schedule kept shifting, but after the interviews, I was told an offer was coming soon and that other candidates were finishing their onsite interviews. Then, crickets... I haven't heard anything back. I saw online that this seems to happen to many people. Circle seems like a great company and everyone I talked to was wonderful.

The process was smooth. I talked to about 7 people on the talent team during the entire thing. Which was great as it is a totally remote role. The interviews got set up fast and the offer came through in just a few days.

The interview process started with a quick phone screen with the Recruitment resource. Following that, I was given an exercise to describe my recruiting process for one of their open positions. I spent a good chunk of my current work day on this, and the recruiter knew this. Rather than asking questions on my 4 page detail that outlines the entire process, Circle took 2 days and then just told me no with zero feedback. When I asked if there was anything concrete I could work on, they said there wasn't anything particular they didn't like, and sent me an exercise someone did for a completely different role. Circle seems like one of those companies with a good product and are poised to grow, hopefully TA can improve their candidate experience before these negative experiences become a well known trend.
