I had a bad interview experience. It was noisy and the interviewer seemed rushed and distracted. The questions weren't relevant to the job description, so I couldn't show my skills. I prepared well and thought I was a good fit, but the environment didn't let me show my best. I wish there was more focus. I think talking to the hiring manager would have been better. I didn't get any feedback, which was disappointing.

The interview process was spread across two days. On day one, interviews were an hour late without any notice or apology. On day two, interviewers didn't show up and didn't provide any heads-up.

It started with an HR phone screen, followed by a data challenge on Codesignal with medium-level probability, SQL, and Python data manipulation questions. Then there was a 45-minute technical interview covering some SQL and product sense questions. The final stage was supposed to be a 5-round virtual onsite. One part was system design, and pre-interview guidance mentioned preparing for hypothesis testing and machine learning questions. However, the interviewer mainly went through my resume and asked about project experience. Two more rounds focused on Python and SQL followed. The fourth round was about development sense, where a senior team member inquired about my familiarity with their business model. The whole process felt unorganized, with the onsite schedule being changed twice. I suspect I didn't perform well in the earlier stages because I was ghosted before the 5th round, which was supposed to be with the product manager. Not recommended.
