Service Supervisor
It's a 3 round process. First round is with the service manager. Next, you'll have a ride-along, and finally, you'll meet with the General Manager. Make sure to wear a suit and have your resume ready. The job starts at 4:45 am.
- Can you share an instance where you hired someone who turned out not to be a good fit, and describe how you managed that situation?
Service Supervisor
So I applied online and then had a phone interview with HR. After that, I went in for an in person interview at their Montgomery, AL office and was told to dress business professional. The interviewer was a recent college grad from a management program. She was nice but mostly talked about herself and how surprised she was to have gotten a management job and how overqualified I was for the supervisor role. She said she would set up another interview with her boss and also her sales team counterpart because they might be interested too. I was excited, but then I got completely ghosted. I even got an auto email to re-apply for the job I already interviewed for. I forwarded it to HR to give them a chance to explain, but still heard nothing. The job is still posted, and I feel like they used me for practice for someone starting their career. It felt deceptive and misleading. I'd stay away from this company.
- I can't remember the specific question, but it was something very basic.
Service Supervisor
We had 4 interviews in total. The first one was a quick screening. Then, the second interview was face-to-face where we did a Q&A. After that, I had a third Q&A interview, but this time with a different person. Lastly, the fourth interview was the final one with either the branch manager or the GM.
- Can you share an instance where you had to deliver bad news to an employee you managed, even though it was something you preferred not to convey?
