Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cintas.
Sales Associate
The interview process felt drawn out just to get an interview, and it ended up being a total waste of my time. They informed me at the end that they had already picked someone internally. I'm not sure if they interviewed me because they had to interview outside candidates.
- Can you show me your accolades and any awards you have won?
Sales Associate
First, there was a preliminary interview, and then I had to formally apply. It was a pretty straightforward interview, and they mostly wanted to see how my work experience aligned with the company. They asked me about positive and negative experiences I've had working in sales.
- What unique qualities do you possess that set you apart?
- Can you describe a positive experience you've had in a sales role?
- Can you describe a negative experience you've had in a sales role?
Sales Associate
The Market Sales Manager reached out to me directly through email after finding my resume on a public job board. Because the role was local, we had an in-person interview. When I got there, it was obvious I wasn't the only one scheduled for that day. The interview itself went okay, though the interviewer seemed bored and uninterested. On the bright side, it became clear pretty quickly that it wasn't a good fit, so not a lot of time was wasted.
- Could you tell me about something difficult you've strived for and accomplished?
