A recruiter from Kentucky called on a Friday to schedule an interview for the next week. We agreed on a time, but she called an hour early because she forgot about the time difference. We proceeded with the interview. While discussing my current experiences, she thought I might be a better fit for an open SSR position and offered to forward my resume. She assured me that if I didn't hear back by the end of the week, she would still contact me about the operator position. However, I never heard from the other HR person or the initial recruiter. My attempts to reach out and express continued interest in the operator role were met with her voicemail, and I never received a response, despite the position still being listed as open. The whole process felt very disorganized and unprofessional!

I got a call from the HR partner to set up the first interview. It was a screening interview with HR, mostly checking my resume and asking common questions like strengths and weaknesses. A few days later, HR called again to schedule the next interviews. These were with different Managers, and each had a booklet of questions from Corporate. The questions weren't too tough, mostly typical scenario-based questions. After a few more days, HR contacted me for the final interview with the General Manager. This one was more casual, no booklet, just about personality and team fit. Questions were about personal life, management style, and career growth. The manager mentioned the next step was a meeting of all interviewers to reach a unanimous decision, and they might pass on great candidates if it wasn't a unanimous 'yes'. About two weeks after starting, I got the call saying I was selected and invited to review the offer and do the paperwork.

Applied online and got a phone interview about a month later. They scheduled an interview with a production manager a few days after that, which I haven't done yet. Update. I interviewed with the current production supervisor, the General Manager, and the Production Manager. I had prepared for STAR questions and answered them well. They even complimented my answers a few times. Ended up getting a generic letter saying they picked someone else. It was a lot of time invested, with four interviews, and I was upset they didn't even call me like they promised. I suspect nepotism since I was qualified. The process felt unfair.
