It was just question after question, like a verbal essay. They kept asking things like "Tell me a time when..." or "Describe a situation where...". It was an hour and a half of trying to come up with examples and answer them on the spot. They barely asked about my actual skills. No small talk, no getting to know each other. There were a lot of those cheesy "inspirational" posters about customers everywhere. Nobody seemed happy. I was interviewed by two people, one who'd been there 10 months and another only 3 months. They just sat there like robots, listening and staring, barely saying anything back. Oh, and they had old National Geographic magazines in the lobby, the most recent one was from 2007. It really gave off a terrible vibe, a very, very bad impression.

It was a 2 week process. First there were 3 interviews. The first one was one on one and professional. The second one had two interviewers, one seemed engaged, the other not so much. The third was a phone interview. I felt I did great on those. Then I had a half-day 'ride along' interview where I was promised pay. I had to watch a phone agent, who was late and bad at training, for a bit. Then I took calls for 2 hours, which I handled well despite the circumstances. I thought I'd get the job, but then I got an email saying I was rejected and never got paid, which was super unprofessional. I tried contacting my original interviewer 4 times for feedback but gave up. The pay was $16-17/hr.

The interview process was pretty simple, it was basically just describing my experience in the workplace. They really don’t ask hard questions. I had two interviews but was denied due to having more experience in HR.
